12:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.   SVN Board of Directors Luncheon and Meeting

 

12:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m.    St. Augustine Site Visit and Excursion-for those arriving early to the conference, a four hour bus tour to the nation’s oldest city will include a site visit to Kid’s Bridge, a supervised visitation program in St. Augustine.  There will time for lunch, sight seeing, and assorted revelry. Cost of the trip is $50, spots are limited.

She wrote her just released memoir, “Three Little Words,” as a way to piece together the puzzle of her past and also to thank those who step up for child welfare issues.

In the open space format, conference attendees will decide what issues and topics they would like to discuss at greater length and post a meeting or conversation topic on the open space bulletin board that will be available on the first day of the conference.  Attendees may choose to meet in traditional meeting rooms, lobby areas, courtyard locations, or poolside to make “connections” and get as much out of the process as they desire.

 

 

6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.   SVN Awards Dinner - Time to celebrate and congratulate! A few awards will be presented here, but mostly it’s time to relax and enjoy the scenic venue and each other’s company.

“Certificate Training: Understanding the SVN Standards and the Code of Ethics”

We have agreed to follow these member adopted principles, but how does that impact the delivery of supervised visitation services that you offer?  Post Conference attendees will gain an advanced understanding of what standards compliance means within the context of their programs and receive a special certificate that will recognize their completion the first SVN approved Standards Training.  The training will be interactive with plenty of time to address specific questions about how you provide service.
